On September 19, 2012, One Mind for Research will present the Circle of Hope dinner and entertainment gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel to benefit its goal of curing diseases of the brain within 10 years.

Two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks will serve as host and Master of Ceremonies. Co-hosts for the star-studded evening include One Mind CEO General (Ret.) Peter Chiarelli; Dr. David Feinberg; Dustin Hoffman; former US Congressman Patrick Kennedy; Lori and Michael Milken; Stewart Resnick; and Shari and Garen Staglin.

Two-time Academy Award winner Sally Field will discuss her Emmy-winning performance in “Sybil,” followed by four-time Emmy winner Gena Rowlands discussing in “The Notebook” and her Oscar-nominated turn in “Women Under the Influence.”

Glenn Close, a mental health advocate and one of the most lauded actresses of her generation, – winner of multiple Emmy, Tony, and Golden Globe Awards and a six-time Academy Award nominee – will perform an original monologue. Close will also share the mission and activities of Bring Change 2 Mind, the organization she co-founded to eliminate the pervasive stigma and discrimination surrounding mental illness.
