Bridgit Mendler Charity Work, Events and Causes

Actress and singer Bridgit Mendler is best known for playing Teddy Duncan in the Disney Channel Original Series Good Luck Charlie.

In 2010, she was named an ambassador for First Book.

In 2011, Mendler released a promotional single, “We Can Change the World”, raising $250,000 to the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund. She also took part in the Disney’s Friends for Change Games, raising $125,000 in donations for UNICEF.

In 2012 she won the honorary award Common Sense Media as Role Model of the Year for her work against bullying. She featured in a March 2013 public campaign with Seventeen Magazine to end cyberbullying.

In May 2013, she traveled to the United Kingdom to fundraise for Comic Relief.

In July 2012, Bridgit became ambassador of the campaign Give With Target with Target Corporation to raise funds to reform schools in the United States.
