The U.S. Agency for International Development is currently holding the inaugural USAID Frontiers in Development Forum on the campus of Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Among the speakers at the premiere three-day event are Mandy Moore and Christy Turlington Burns.

Moore is attending as the Ambassador of Population Services International (PSI), and Turlington Burns is representing her own organization, Every Mother Counts.

The event is designed to serve as a forum for world leaders, government officials and international development experts to discuss issues facing developing countries during this time of rapid change. They aim to define key challenges and opportunities and form plans on how to support critical development around the world.
