Did you see Matthew McConaughey play the bongos when he was a guest of Piers Morgan on CNN recently? The actor is now auctioning the drums for charity.
On the show to talk about his current hit, Lincoln Lawyer, where he plays an LA defense lawyer who works out of the back of a Lincoln Town Car defending low-life criminals, Matthew took some time to share one of his passions and favorite pastimes and give Piers a lesson on the bongos. You can see the performance here.
When he’s not starring in Hollywood blockbusters like A Time to Kill, gracing the cover of Vanity Fair and being named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive,” Matthew can usually be found enjoying life and helping others. His personal motto is “Just Keep Livin,” the namesake of his j.k. livin foundation, which is dedicated to helping teenage kids lead active lives and make healthy choices to become great men and women.
The bongos are currently going under the hammer for the j.k. livin foundation, and the auction can be accessed via CharityFolks.com here until June 29.
