A BBC documentary presented by Ben Fogle following the work of Facing Africa in Ethiopia.
The film crew made three separate visits to Ethiopia between January and April 2010, including several days filming the team of 4 surgeons, 2 anaesthetists and 3 nurses at the MCM Hospital is Addis Ababa.
During that mission, over 50 patients had reconstructive surgery on their faces. Most were able to return to their villages and lead normal lives. A few will have further medical treatment carried out by future teams.
