Dr. Jeffrey Sachs is the Special Advisor to the UN Secretary General on the Millennium Development Goals. Dr. Sachs is also the Director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University, and on the Board or Advisors for the Millennium Campus Network.
He has twice been named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people, and his books “The End of Poverty” and “Commonwealth” have inspired college students nationwide and worldwide to take action and address extreme poverty.
