On July 7, 2011, John Legend visited the International Rescue Committee's Refugee Youth Summer Academy in New York, where newly-arrived refugee kids and teens are learning to adjust to life and school in the United States. The international recording artist and nine-time Grammy winner is also an IRC Voice, working to raise awareness of the humanitarian needs of refugees.
