Heidi Klum, Janet Jackson and Kenneth Cole will be honored at the amfAR New York Gala next month.

Since 1998, the amfAR New York Gala has become one of New York City’s most successful and high-profile AIDS benefits. The Gala has saluted some of the biggest names in entertainment, fashion, art, and AIDS advocacy, including Roberto Cavalli, President Bill Clinton, Clive Davis, Richard Gere, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Hanks, Sir Elton John and David Furnish, Quincy Jones, Donna Karan, Liza Minnelli, Rosie O'Donnell, Natasha Richardson, Carine Roitfeld, Julian Schnabel, Sharon Stone, Dame Elizabeth Taylor, Diane von Furstenberg, Barbara Walters, Robin Williams, and Anna Wintour.

The galas have included speakers, presenters, and performers such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Theophilus London, Janelle Monae, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, Woody Allen, Tracy Chapman, P. Diddy, Billy Crystal, Michael Douglas, Eve, Whitney Houston, Marc Jacobs, Sir Elton John, Gladys Knight, Beyoncé Knowles, Lady Gaga, Barry Manilow, Lou Reed, Vanessa Redgrave, Natasha Richardson, Garry Shandling, Jon Stewart, Meryl Streep, Uma Thurman, Stanley Tucci, Rufus Wainwright, and Stevie Wonder. The amfAR New York Gala has raised more than $11 million to date.
