The Only Way is Essex’s Lydia Bright and her mum Debbie Douglas were amongst the celebrity guests attending the Little Star Awards party held by Cancer Research UK and TK Maxx on Saturday, 26th May, at London Zoo.
The Little Star Awards celebrate the courage of all children who have been diagnosed with cancer.
Other celebrities helping the children enjoy the party included singer Lemar, actor and TV presenter Joe Swash, TV presenters and former Blue Peter hosts Konnie Huq and Zoe Salmon, ex-EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison and Joelle Moses from BBC’s The Voice.
Lydia Bright said:
“I feel really privileged to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Little Star Awards and attending this great party this year. These amazing kids are so inspirational in the way that they have coped with their cancer diagnosis and all their gruelling treatment.
“I think that these awards are a fantastic way to recognise the remarkable bravery of the children who have been through so much at such a young age. Anything that helps the children and their families at this difficult time gets my full support, and it’s an honour to be involved with such a wonderful campaign.”
