Here’s something special for everyone out there who thinks that Brad Pitt has a nice bottom: you now have the chance to rest your backside in exactly the same spot as the man himself!
The chair which the actor used on the Alberta set of The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford is being sold to raise money for people dying of AIDS in Africa. The tall, black canvas seat is posted on eBay with a minimum bid of $3,000, and has been signed “Thanks for caring, BP” on the back.
The chair was previously bought at auction in 2006 to raise funds for the same hospice and palliative care program in Litein, Kenya, that the money from the present sale will go to.
“He is very much into this compassionate type of work,” said Darlene Fach, who currently owns the chair. “My thought is that he would not have an issue with me putting it onto eBay with the same intent, the intent is that it would be going back into compassionate care.”
Fach also says the chair has brought a lot of joy to her family.
“I let my granddaughter have it for a year because she’s such a big Brad Pitt fan,” she said. “She had it at home and her friends would come over and enjoy the chair – it’s a conversation piece – and people would just come over and enjoy it. It’s fun to sit in.”
Anyone interested in Ms Fach’s posterior motives should head over to eBay.
