Angel’s at Risk, a leading Westside-based charity co-founded by Ted Danson that works with at-risk teens and their families in addressing drug and alcohol use and abuse, will host the second annual "Stand Up To Addiction in the Name of Prevention event on February 11 at a private estate in Pacific Palisades.

The event’s host committee includes Irving Azoff, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, James Caan, Ted Danson, Sugar Ray Leonard Tobey Maguire and many others.

“Prevention education is paramount,” said Susie Spain, Angel’s at Risk co-founder. “We believe that when the issue of addiction is addressed early in life, the family’s future can be changed forever.”

“Angel’s at Risk is a safety net catching kids and families from all backgrounds, rich and poor, before they fall through the cracks,” added Ted Danson. “And for many, Angel’s at Risk’s free services are the only option they will have for any kind of help.”
