Katy Perry will help host a special charity event in Las Vegas on Friday.
The Butter Group, New York City’s preeminent lifestyle and hospitality company, has announced that J. Molinari Jewelry Designers, Markus Molinari and Jason Arasheben, along with Katy Perry, will host a special GiveLove charity event on Friday, January 27, 2012, part of the weekend-long Grand Opening celebration of 1 OAK Las Vegas at The Mirage Hotel & Casino.
GiveLove co-founders, Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Getty, will attend the celebration, featuring a special live performance by Jordanian-American recording artist, Ferras, and will accept a donation on behalf of the charity that develops temporary housing solutions and improved sanitation systems in Haiti.
The Butter Group’s Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva, along with 1 OAK Las Vegas managing partner Eli Pacino, teamed up with Las Vegas’ leading hospitality, development and management innovators, The Light Group, to debut the Las Vegas outpost of their Manhattan hot spot, 1 OAK.
New Year’s Eve marked 1 OAK’s inauguration and featured a start-studded celebration hosted by Fergie and a historic, three-hour DJ set by YEEZYWORLDPEACE, a.k.a. Kanye West. Since opening, 1 OAK Las Vegas has hosted some of the biggest names in Hollywood, including Josh Duhamel, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Topher Grace, Jason Ritter and Amber Rose, among others, as well as a slew of special live, many impromptu, performances by the world’s top DJ’s and musicians, including Adam Levine, Pitbull, Laidback Luke, Cobra Starship, Jason Derulo, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars.
