Kevin Sorbo and Kate Linder will be at a very special event next month that aims to encourage people to recycle.

The Planet Green Recycle Reuse Rejoice Celebrity Celebration is raising money for several charities and addressing the growing e-waste disposal problem that is threatening the environment. All you have to do is bring along your old electronic waste items – such as ink and toner cartridges, cell phones etc – and you’ll also have the chance to help a group of stars and their charities.

Who’ll be there?

Kevin Sorbo from Hercules, The Legendary Journeys and his charity A World Fit For Kids!, which is a leading provider of healthy behaviors and empowerment for young people.

Tony Denison from The Closer and his charity The Sunshine Kids, dedicated to children with cancer.

Kate Linder from The Young and the Restless and her charity, the ALS Association, dedicated to fighting Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Taylor Gray from Nickelodeon’s Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures, and his charity Nothing But Nets to help raise funds and awareness to fight malaria which is afflicting children in Africa.

When and Where?

The event takes place at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel Poolside Garden, 12825 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, from 12-4pm on December 10. Entry is free if you bring a recyclable electronic item.
