As the holidays approach, the November/December issue of VIVMag, the all-digital luxury lifestyle magazine for women, is now available for women to engage in some seasonal fun! Oscar-winning actress and philanthropist Marcia Gay Harden discusses the importance of hands-on philanthropy and spending time with family, while other stories provide guidance on everything from de-stressing to glamming up for the parties to come.

In her feature story, Harden shares her passion for charity work, as an active member of the water preservation nonprofit Riverkeeper, her work with Help USA, and as a board member for YMCA of Greater New York. She has nearly mastered the balance between family, giving back and healthy living, along with her work as a star of stage, TV and film. She discusses her work with Adrien Brody and Christina Hendricks on Detachment, directed by Tony Kaye (American History X).

“This issue of VIVMag is all about enjoying and staying healthy through the holiday season while being actively engaged in your community,” said Anne M. Russell, editor-in-chief, VIVMag. “No one embodies these qualities more than our cover model, Marcia Gay Harden. All of our VIVMag readers will enjoy sharing her incredible journey to success.”

The November/December issue is now available to member subscribers via its dedicated iPad app, and through Zinio for the iPad, iPhone, Mac and PC. Find out more here.
