A host of celebrities recently hit Puerto Rico for this year’s Hollywood Domino Tournament. The event, which returned to Puerto Rico for the second consecutive year, featured an all-day golf tournament followed by an evening gala that raised funds and awareness for Fundación A-Mar, a local non-profit aiding youth burn victims.

“We are honored to continue our partnership with Hollywood Domino and support such a great cause at El Conquistador Resort,” said El Conquistador Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Resort General Manager Dermot Connolly. “This year’s impressive turnout ensures that those who benefit from Fundacion A-Mar’s efforts receive the ongoing assistance they need. We hope to welcome this event back to Puerto Rico in 2012.”

Celebrities – including Olivia Munn, Grant Show, Odette Annable Yustman, Dave Annable, Bryan Greenburg (How to Make it in America, Bride Wars), Daniel Gilles (Vampire Diaries, Spider-Man 2), Jeff Bryan Davis (The Sara Silverman Program) and Lymari Nadal (American Gangster) – attended the festivities and stayed at both El Conquistador Resort and its sister property, Las Casitas Village, throughout the holiday weekend. The event started with a golf tournament at the resort’s Arthur Hills 18-hole golf course and concluded with a farewell dinner Sunday night. The main event, which took place Saturday night, was held on the white sand beaches of Palomino Island, El Conquistador Resort’s own private island accessible by resort ferry.

“This was by far the highest level of hospitality and professionalism I have ever experienced, with the resort’s staff going beyond the call of duty to ensure we were constantly looked after,” said Daya Fernandez, founder Hollywood Domino. “The success of this year’s event is most certainly thanks to the beautiful El Conquistador Resort and its incredible staff.”
