Prince Harry was among the special guests that attended a charity awards ceremony in London on August 31.
The inspirational winners of the WellChild Awards 2011 received their Award at a star-studded ceremony at London’s Park Lane InterContinental Hotel, hosted by Dancing on Ice star and WellChild Ambassador Laura Hamilton.
The Awards were presented by the charity’s celebrity supporters, including Barbara Windsor, Angellica Bell and Michael Underwood, Blue, Duncan Bannatyne and many more.
Charity Patron, Prince Harry, presented the Awards to the youngest winners, Harley Lane and Sophie Cooper. WellChild Ambassadors Scouting For Girls received a special Award in recognition of their fantastic support, including their London to Brighton cycle ride last year which raised over £20,000.
WellChild helps sick children and their families throughout the UK to manage the consequences of serious illness and complex health conditions through their program of care, support and research.
