Actor Joe Mantegna (“Criminal Minds”) will host ACT Today!'s (Autism Care and Treatment Today!) 5th Annual Charity Golf Classic presented by the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc.

The tournament will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at the North Ranch Country Club, in Westlake Village, California. Proceeds from the fundraiser will provide resources and treatment for children with autism whose families cannot afford the necessary tools their child needs to achieve their full potential. Mantegna, who has a daughter with autism, is calling on the community to show their support for autism care and treatment.

“We are amazed at the amount of support we’ve received from the local community and beyond,” said Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson, Executive Director of ACT Today!. “The goal of this year’s golf tournament is two-fold: to increase autism awareness and to raise funds in order to help our families receive the resources they need for their children with autism.”

Sponsors include (as of July 25, 2011): Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD), TWIW Insurance Services, LLC, Vista Lexus, Kirsch, Kohn & Bridge CPA, Trillium Sports Medicine, Apptico Technologies, Tile City of Camarillo, and Calabasas Dental Care and Newport/Naples Rib Company.
