Charlie Sheen brought his Violent Torpedo of Truth to San Francisco on Saturday and raised more than $20,000 for a baseball fan Bryan Stow’s on-going medical bills.

Stow was beaten into a coma at a San Francisco Giants game in March, and Sheen raised much-needed cash via merchandise sales, a pre-show collection and a personal donation.

“As a sports fan, Charlie was saddened by the Dodger Stadium assault of Bryan Stow,” said Sheen’s business manager Brian Klarberg. “Charlie is matching those fan contributions as well and topping off the contribution to the Bryan Stow Foundation to $20,000. A cheque will be given to the Foundation later this week.”
