The latest line up has been announced for this year’s Celebrity Soccer Six events at Charlton Athletic Football Club on Bank Holiday Monday May 30th and Burnley Football Club on Sunday June 5th.

Taking part at Charlton are newly reformed rock Gods The Darkness, Eurovision hopefuls Blue, Soccer AM, The Sun and recent Jessie J support act Encore. The Burnley Soccer Six event will feature multi platinum selling singer, rapper and actor Plan B, Libertines frontman Pete Doherty, stars from The Only Way is Essex, Hollyoaks and Coronation Street.

Lining up at both of this year’s Soccer Six events are X Factor champ Shayne Ward, East London actor Danny Dyer and stars from Waterloo Road, Dancing on Ice, X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and I’m a Celebrity…

There are many more big names still to be announced and with over 150 celebrities in attendance Soccer Six is the biggest 6-a-side celebrity football tournament in the world. At past events, players have taken part for charities such as the Samaritans and the Prince's Trust. For the last nine years, celebrities such as Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Kasabian and Razorlight have lined up for the competition.

Current champions are Jeff Brazier's X Factor team who saw off competition in the 2010 tournament from The Wanted, McFly, NDUBZ, Flawless, Omid Djalili and David Baddiel, Kid British, Soccer AM, The Hoosiers and the Sun, who had Lethal Bizzle, Tinchy Stryder and Olly Murs in the side. NDUBZ’s Tulisa was on fire in the girls’ tournament and it was her team that lifted the girls’ trophy.

Tickets are on sale now and are available from Charlton Athletic Football Club on 0871 226 1905 or in person at the box office and online at Burnleyfc.com and from Burnley Football Club on 0871 221 1914, in person at the box office. Tickets are £12 adults, £8 children under 12 and £40 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 3 children under 12.
