Project Ladybug's first Chicago Fundraiser, titled Treads and Threads, will take place on Thursday, April 7. The event will present a unique night to remember showcasing luxury cars and fashion designs from Chicago design house, AKIRA! This evening will feature some of Chicago’s most notable people & celebrities including Project Ladybug Founder & T.V. personality, Dina Manzo.

The event will spotlight food from Chicago’s best dining establishments; specialty entertainment will include music, dancing, variety acts, art and much more! Guys, this is for you too – the event is bringing technology & sports together in an interactive “Pit Stop” area! So come on out and bid on the Silent Auction, try and win raffle prizes, play games and more throughout the night!

Dina Manzo established Project Ladybug to enrich the lives of local children with life threatening conditions. The Fund strives to help families face the financial and the emotional hardships during their child’s treatment to help meet the needs of seriously ill and less fortunate patients in our region. Through improving the quality of life for these children and families during treatment, Project Ladybug hopes to improve outcomes for these patients.

Treads and Threads will be taking place April 7, 2011 at the luxurious Grossinger Autoplex located in Chicago at 1561 Freemont Street from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
