David Hyde Pierce will emcee the 8th annual National Alzheimer’s Gala on April 6 in Washington DC.

The National Alzheimer’s Gala is a black-tie fundraising and awareness dinner to benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. More than 750 of the most influential and respected political, business, philanthropic, entertainment, media and social leaders gather each year to celebrate advances in the fight against Alzheimer’s — and to rally around the growing movement to end the disease.

To date, the gala has raised more than $9 million to address this rapidly growing health crisis. The Alzheimer’s Association funds cutting-edge research, raises awareness, and helps to address the needs of the millions of Americans with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
