Here’s your chance to rev up your life when you witness Patrick Dempsey doing one of his favorite things… racing cars!
The star is offering the chance to be his personal guest on July 9 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in beautiful Monterey, California, in a new celebrity charity auction to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.
The highest bidder will get the chance to meet Patrick, get pit and paddock passes to the event with a guided tour, as well as signed memorabilia.
Heart-throb Patrick Dempsey is one of today’s top television and film actors staring in ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy known to many as Dr. McDreamy. In addition, he continues to win us over on the big screen in popular films such as Can’t Buy Me Love, Enchanted, Made of Honor and the upcoming Flypaper and Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
Dempsey’s love of auto racing has led him to drive the pace car in the Indianapolis 500, race in the Rolex 24 at Daytona sports car race and Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 off-road race. He is currently the co-owner of IndyCar Series team Vision Racing and Dempsey Racing, which is presently racing two Mazda RX-8 cars in the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series GT class. In 2009, he raced a Team Seattle Advanced Engineering Ferrari F430 GT in the 2009 24 Hours of Le Mans’s GT2 class, and finished ninth in class.
