Los Angeles Team Mentoring (LATM) is holding its second annual celebrity Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood, Calif. tonight, Feb. 24, 2011.

This year’s Bowl-A-Thon will be attended by more than 17 television and sports personalities, each of whom will lead a bowling team of six to raise money for the local non-profit. The evening will consist of bowling, games, food, drinks, raffles and special prizes for the champion bowlers. Participants will enjoy a fun-filled evening of bowling while helping raise money and awareness for this distinctive program, which helps so many kids beat the odds against them. Celebrities scheduled to attend the event include Quinton Aaron and Kristoff St. John, as well as Kiptyn Locke and Tenley Molzahn from ABC’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, 102.7 Kiss FM’s Manny “Manny Streetz” Guevara, professional dancer and choreographer Cris Judd, 24’s Gregory Itzin, Charmed’s Brian Krause, James Lesure from the new ABC show, Mr. Sunshine, and Patrick Warburton from CBS’s Rules of Engagement.

For almost two decades, LATM has provided at-risk middle-school youth with a unique approach to mentoring, guiding them to perform better in school, create lasting relationships, build resiliency to adverse situations and realize their full potential. This innovative and successful team-based program continues to help thousands of under-privileged and at-risk youth build self-esteem and self-worth so that they can dream and attain far-reaching goals and lead lives with positive futures. LATM continues to be one of the biggest and most notable after-school mentoring programs in Los Angeles.

The event takes place tonight at 6pm at Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes, 6801 Hollywood Blvd.
