The formerly private Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational is now open to the public.

Between March 31 – April 3, fans in the Las Vegas area will have the chance to see some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment at the premier celebrity golf celebration. Tickets are on sale now for the 10th annual event, hosted by ARIA Resort & Casino at Shadow Creek.

The four-day tournament will once again offer the parties, A-list entertainment and competitive golf that have earned the event its reputation as one of the best of its kind.

“I’m truly excited about bringing my tournament to Las Vegas,” Jordan said in a statement released Wednesday by his publicist. “Shadow Creek is one of my favorite courses. I love seeing old friends, playing golf and having fun, but the most gratifying aspect of hosting the event is what we’ve been able to give back.”

The MJCI was founded in 2001, and has since then raised more than $5 million for charity. This year’s beneficiaries include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Jordan Foundation, Cats Care and the Nevada Cancer Institute. Additional charities will be added as celebrities who sign up to take part add their chosen organizations to the list.

Some of the sports legends to have participated in the past are Charles Barkley, Mario Lemieux, Julius Erving and Wayne Gretzky. Past entertainers to join in have included Don Cheadle, Mark Wahlberg, Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russel.

ARIA Resort & Casino and Shadow Creek are incredibly proud to bring the Michael Jordan Celebrity Invitational to Las Vegas for the first time,” said Bill McBeath, ARIA’s president and chief operating officer. “It’s only fitting that we open Shadow Creek to the public for the first time to welcome fans of Michael Jordan and his celebrity guests for such a spectacular tournament. More importantly, we are honored to be a part of an event that will help raise money for a variety of important charitable organizations.”
