Toy giant Mattel Inc has been joined by a host of celebrity fans in its new charity auction.
The Celebrity Signed Mattel Auction runs until October 1, and features games such as Apples to Apples, Pictionary Man, Loopz and Blokus Classic autographed by a plethora of stars such as Edward Norton, Keanu Reeves and Josh Hartnett.
“The Celebrity Signed Mattel Auction is a great example of how companies and celebrities come together to support important charity causes,” said Amanda LeBlanc, Vice President at Vonality, host of the online auction.
Other celebrities taking part include Minnie Driver, Bill Pullman, Emilio Estevez, Freida Pinto, Ryan Gosling, Peter Fonda, Martin Sheen, Terrence Howard, Miranda Richardson, David Schwimmer, Geoffrey Rush, Jay Baruchel and Ryan Philippe.
At least 72% of all funds raised through the online auction will go directly to the SickKids Foundation and the Hospital for Sick Children, well known worldwide as Canada’s most research-oriented hospital.
