ONEXONE, the charitable organization committed to fighting health issues and preserving the lives of children locally and globally, along with Academy Award-winner Matt Damon, will host their 3rd Annual ONEXONE Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 27th at Capitale at 130 Bowery in New York City.

The evening will feature keynote speaker Paul Farmer, Co-Founder of Partners in Health, and a special musical performance from multi-platinum band Collective Soul, as well as other popular artist and an award-winning local children’s choir. ONEXONE will welcome back Jay Bilas in his third year as Master of Ceremonies, and Jesse Itzler in his second year as Auctioneer of the event’s live auction. 9-year old pianist and composer Ethan Bortnick will also return to this year’s show. Patricia Arquette will receive the ONEXONE Difference Award for her work with Give Love, the organization that she co-founded.

In addition, the annual fundraiser will announce details surrounding the organization’s newest charitable initiative in partnership with Partners in Health, funding the pediatric wing of a new hospital the organization is currently building in Haiti, in the wake of this year’s devastating earthquake.

“We feel lucky to be able to bring this event to NYC after two very successful events in San Francisco,” said Marc Joubert, President of ONEXONE U.S. “New York is such a great city and the people here are some of the most philanthropic in the world. It’s a smart audience that really cares about the issues. We’re also excited to add new elements to the show that will make this year’s event even bigger and better than last year’s.”

This ONEXONE event in New York focuses not only on raising funds and awareness for the issues, but also on producing a top-notch show that entertains and educates the audience at the same time.

In addition to esteemed speakers, live musical performances, and live auction, the event also includes a silent auction and cocktail hour, a seated 3-course dinner, and presentation of the ONEXONE Difference Award, all in a venue that is truly unique; Capitale’s interior features tall Corinthian columns, a beautifully decorated coved ceiling, and an art glass skylight making the Capitale’s ballroom one of New York’s great function spaces.
