Willie Nelson and Woody Harrelson will host a very special charity poker tournament later this month.
The pair will hold the "Willie and Woody All-Star Texas Hold ’Em Charity Tournament on September 27 at the Hustler Casino in LA to benefit the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance, which aims to increase awareness of community-based biodiesel initiatives.
The no-limit tournament will also feature a silent auction that includes items such as a lithograph signed by Jack Johnson, a guitar donated by Ziggy Marley, and a SBA Bandanna signed by Willie Nelson.
According to the tournament flyer: “In the United States, we consume over 868 million gallons of petroleum EVERY DAY. Community-based, sustainable biodiesel is one solution to reducing this staggering statistic. The Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public on the value of community-based biodiesel and quantifying the attributes of environmental and social sustainability.”
The tournament is limited to 200 players and 50 spectators. The event starts with drinks at 6pm, a buffet at 7pm, and the cards hit the table at 8pm. For more information, click here.
