The Duchess of Cornwall has auctioned a private tour of Clarence House, where she lives with Princes Charles, William and Harry, to raise money for a French medical clinic in London.
Camilla, who has been Patron of Dispensaire Français since early 2009, follows Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother, King Edward VII and Queen Victoria, the clinic’s first patron, in this traditional role.
Dispensaire provides medical services to French speaking patients who are unable to make use of the national health services. Open five days per week, the clinic is staffed by over two dozen volunteer doctors and specialists.
