James Taylor and Carole King have raised more than $1.5 million in charitable donations so far on their Troubadour Reunion tour.

The pair have reunited for a tour, with proceeds benefiting the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Alliance for the Wild Rockies – which King and Taylor have long championed—plus more than 90 additional national and local charitable organizations.The cash raised so far is 50% more than expected.

The money is being raised through special packages offered to fans, including stage seating, pre-show soundcheck sessions, private VIP receptions and a commemorative tour book.
