Penny Lancaster Stewart – the wife of rocker Rod Stewart – was among 1,100 walkers to take part in Breast Cancer Care's charity walk in Oxfordshire, UK, on Saturday.

The event is held annually in four different locations around the UK, with participants donning pink clothes and walking either 10 or 20 miles. Saturday’s walk follows similar events in South Downs and Perthshire earlier this month. June 5 will see the fourth and final event for the year in Yorkshire.

The events have raised over £4.5 million since the first walk in 2005, with funds going to the 1.7 million cancer sufferers assisted by the charity each year.
