Lisa Kudrow will lead an all-star cast in a special charity reading of Larry Kramer’s The Normal Heart on Monday, May 17.

The former Friends actress will join Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”), Tate Donovan (“Damages”), Jon Tenney (“The Closer”), Dan Bucatinsky (“Web Therapy”), Tim Bagley (“Monk”), Alex Mapa (“Ugly Betty”), Clark Gregg (“The New Adventures of Old Christine”) and David Eigenberg (“Sex and the City”) for the performance.

Directed by Joel Grey – who starred in the original production of the play in 1985 – The Normal Heart focuses on the terrifying early years of the AIDS epidemic in New York and the criminal silence of official America in dealing with it.

Proceeds from the reading will go to the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center’s Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic. The performance will take place at the Geffen Playhouse, 10886 Le Conte Av, Westwood Village, LA.

Tickets are $50 (general admission) and $100 (preferred seating), and can be purchased at www.lagaycenter.org/thenormalheart. Special VIP tickets are also available for $250. VIP ticket holders receive special, reserved seating and an invitation to a pre-performance reception, as well as an after-party reception with the cast.
