Former Chilis Guitarist Records Charity Album

Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante has recorded a charity album with the Mars Volta’s Omar Rodriguez Lopez.

Fans can download the instrumental album – simply called Omar Rodriguez Lopez and John Frusciante – and pay whatever they want. Profits from the album will go to the Keep Music in Schools.

The album also features bassist Juan Alderete and percussionist Marcel Rodriguez Lopez.
