The American Red Cross of Santa Monica will hold a Red Tie Gala this weekend to honor Jada Pinkett Smith for her outstanding contributions to humanitarian efforts and her support of the American Red Cross.
Among the stars involved with the event are Chairs Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, Jane Seymour, Olivia Newton-John, Brian Dennehy and Rachel Griffiths, and the evening will also feature the presentation of a very special “Red Cross Spirit Award” to the cast and crew of the hit TV series “HawthoRNe.”. This show educates and motivates thousands of viewers with their portrayal of the daring struggle to preserve life. “HawthoRNe” was chosen because it reflects the organization’s mission to help people and save lives, and recognizes the heroric nursing profession which is at the roots of the Amercian Red Cross.
The evening will include a gourmet dinner designed by celebrity chef Nick Stellino , a private VIP reception, a Casino, live music, and an auction featuring exciting and unique items.
