Red Hot Chili Peppers singer Anthony Kiedis has been named as a Director of his fellow band member’s music charity.
The singer will sit on the Board of Directors of the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a non-profit organization established by Chili Peppers bassist Flea to facilitate basic music education.
Kiedis joins the organization at an exciting time of growth – having achieved a level of stability over the last nine years, Silverlake Conservatory is seeking to increase their overall number of students from 600 to 1,200, with half of the students being from low-income backgrounds and receiving free scholarships and instruments.
