Joe Mantegna, Joe Pesci and John Schneider are just three of the celebrities lined up to play in the 7th Annual Hack n’ Smack Celebrity Golf Tournament.
The tournament, benefiting the Melanoma Research Foundation, has been named one of the top 10 Celebrity Golf Tournaments in Southern California. It takes place on April 19th, and is in memory of actor Kerry Daveline.
“Every hour of every day, someone dies of melanoma in the U.S. Melanoma strikes people of all ages, races, and economic levels. One in 75 Americans will develop melanoma during their lifetime. It is the fastest rising cancer in the U.S. and the most deadly. It is also the most highly preventable, and treatable, if caught early. Currently, melanoma research receives less than 10% of the funding given to basic research of other cancers, which is why we created this event and why we give 100% of the proceeds to the cause” said Kevin E. West, Founder/Co-Host.
Also co-hosting is Michael Moynahan (Zoobilee Zoo).
Scheduled to attend are Annie Wersching (24), Bill Smitrovich (Independence Day), Brian Krause (Charmed), Chuck Muncie (NFL San Diego Chargers), Dan Moriarty (FOX Sports Radio), David Naughton (Makin It), Dean McDermott (Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood), Eric Martsolf (Day of Our Lives), Dennis Haysbert (The Unit), Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives), George Lazenby (James Bond), Gordon Luggnutz Stewart (OnEdge), Grant Show (Accidentally on Purpose), Harold Greene (LA News), Jaime Gomez (Nash Bridges), James Hyde (Passions), Jeffrey Nordling (Desperate Housewives/24), Jeremy Ratchford (Cold Case), Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights), Joel Murray (Mad Men, Secret Life of An American Teenager), Kevin Dobson (Knots Landing), Kevin Weisman (Alias), Lorenzo Neal (NFL, Pro-Bowler), Matt Borlenghi (General Hospital), Matthew Willig (Day One), Max Ryan (Sex And The City 2), Paul Logan (Days of Our Lives), Paula Trickey (Deal or No Deal), Regan Burns (Reno 911), Richard Karn (Home Improvement), Richard Schiff (West Wing), Robert Hays (Airplane), Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy), Scott Elrod (Men In Trees), Shawn Ryan (EP, Ridealong/The Shield), Stephen Bishop (The Rundown), Stephen Full (I’m with the Band).
