Autism Speaks will honor two of Rock’s greatest at a special event in May.

Former Eagles guitarist Don Felder will be honored along with David Spero – legendary rock producer/manager and member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Board of Directors – at the Rock ’Til It Stops gala in Cleveland on May 1.

The event will feature food, music and fun as the Cleveland Northeast Ohio community joins together to raise awareness about autism to support Autism Speaks’ local and national research, education and outreach initiatives. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to support projects in the local communities.

Don Felder will perform at the event, and there will be a live and silent auction featuring a range of items, including the chance to play tambourine in Don Felder’s band on the night, and the actual guitar Felder plays at the concert. A guitar signed by Crosby, Stills and Nash will also be up for auction.

2010 Rock til it Stops is on Saturday, May 1st at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum just following Autism Awareness month. More info can be found here.
