British recording artist, talk show host, and actress Lily Allen is selling prams from one of her performances to raise money for charity.

The ultra-posh Silver Cross Balmoral prams, which were wheeled around on stage during one of Allen’ recent performances, will be sold off to raise cash for the star’s chosen charity, War Child.

The high-end prams usually fetch close to £1,000 and are described as “the pram of choice for royals and celebrities alike for over 100 years.”

Just this week, Allen was honored at the 2010 BRIT Awards where she won British Solo Artist of the Year.

War Child International is a network of independent organisations, working across the world to help children affected by war. War Child was founded upon a fundamental goal: to advance the cause of peace through investing hope in the lives of children caught up in the horrors of war. War Child works in many different conflict areas around the world, helping hundreds of thousands of children every year.
