Later tonight, Thursday February 11, The Heart Truth will bring the Red Dress to life once again on the runway at New York Fashion Week with the debut of the Red Dress Collection 2010. This spectacular event reminds women of the need to protect their heart health and inspires them to take action, and CBS will televise the event live.

Join CBSNews.com on the opening night of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in NYC for a front row seat and backstage pass to one of the hottest shows. About 20 A-list ladies, including Kim Kardashian, Felicity Huffman, Kristin Chenoweth, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Heidi Klum, Jewel, Joan Collins, Jordin Sparks, Raven Symone and many more, team up with the top designers to showcase the latest collection of red hot dresses and to let women know that heart disease is their #1 health threat.

CBS News’ Lonnie Quinn and Cali Carlin will host the event live on CBSNews.com. They will also take some of your questions for the stars from the chat room and social stream during the show.

A selection of dresses worn in the show will be up for auction at www.clothesoffourback.org. Proceeds benefit the Foundation for the National Institute of Health for heart health awareness and research.

The Heart Truth is an awareness campaign created by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health. It is designed to warn women about their number one health risk, heart disease, and the need to take action against its risk factors.

The Heart Truth created and introduced the Red Dress as the national symbol for women and heart disease awareness in 2002 to deliver an urgent wakeup call to American women. The Red Dress reminds women of the need to protect their heart health and inspires them to take action.
