Soles4Souls Inc., the international shoe charity dedicated to giving away free footwear to those in need, has announced that it has finalized its schedule for a multiple city distribution effort across the country in order to mark its Five Year Anniversary.

Soles4Souls is visiting 20 cities in nine states beginning January 8, when the Soles4Souls RV Tour will visit New Orleans to distribute new shoes to children staying at The Covenant House, which provides shelter and services to homeless, runaway and at-risk youth ages 16-21.

Kim Kardashian, the popular TV star and established businesswoman, is helping raise funds for the Soles4Souls distributions through a video campaign on www.50kshoes.com. She has also pledged her time in helping distribute the shoes to children in need.

“We are excited that Ms. Kardashian has joined our efforts to put new shoes on the feet of kids who really need our help,” said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO. “She is helping us engage the general public with our mission and her assistance is incredibly valuable,” he said.

Soles4Souls is a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and the closets of people like you. The charity distributes these shoes free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 6 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes (currently donating one pair every 9 seconds.) The shoes have been distributed to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States. Anyone can join their cause, and they need your help. Visit www.giveshoes.org for more information.

Other cities that the RV Tour will visit include Houston, Dallas, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver and Topeka, Kansas. For more information visit www.giveshoes.org or call 866-521-SHOE (7463).
