Earlier this year, Look To The Stars brought you the story about Usher's plans to collaborate with a group of lucky fans as part of the Body by Milk Got Noise program.
As part of the initiative, Usher was looking for teens between the age of 13 and 18 to submit video ideas for his latest video. The winners were to be put into two teams to create, produce and direct video ideas that will go head-to-head with the studio version of the video in an online vote-off.
Last week the lucky group of teens, selected from over 5000 who applied, were flown out to Hollywood where they got the chance to create, concept & direct a music video for Usher!
The initiative was funded by America’s milk producers to help educate Americans about the benefits of milk. Bodybymilk.com is the online educational resource for consumers from MilkPEP (Milk Processor Education Program), designed and maintained to keep teens and moms engaged and educated about nature’s power drink.
“I am so excited to be the first artist involved with the Body By Milk Got Noise? music video program,” said Usher. “It gives me another way to give back and also reinvent music videos. It will also send out a message to my fans about the importance of healthy living. That’s something I believe in and want my fans to recognize.”
