Tina Fey took part in a special charity walk across New York’s Brooklyn Bridge to raise money for cancer research last week.

The star of comedy 30 Rock was a special ambassador for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's annual Light the Night Walk across the landmark from Manhattan to Brooklyn on Thursday, October 15.

"A very good friend of mine was diagnosed with Lymphoma and is now a survivor," she said. “She’s a young woman, a young mother; this disease affects families so much. Every four minutes someone is diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease or leukaemia or lymphoma. So come on out, there’s walks all over the country, not just in New York.”
