Britney Spears treated four Katrina victims, teenage friends aged 13 to 17, to a spectacular day of shopping and dining.
The girls lost everything in the hurricane and Britney wanted to bring them some cheer. She started by taking them to New Orleans’ department store Em’s, where she bought them new wardrobes. After the shopping, Emeril Lagasse opened his famous restaurant, Emeril’s, just for them.
As one last remembrance of their fantastic day, Spears left the girls with fleur-de-lys pins representing rebirth.
