Actor David Arquette was out and about for charity last week.

The Scream star is a spokesperson for the Cheesecake Factory’s Drive Out Hunger Tour, an initiative visiting 30 cities in 30 days this month. The actor drove a through Los Angeles collecting donations for the charity tour and visited the set of Cougar Town, where his wife Courteney Cox was shooting her new ABC TV series. She and her co-star Busy Philipps donated cans of soup in exchange for slices of red velvet cheesecake. Arquette then visited a nearby studio where Zach Braff was filming Scrubs.

The tour is heading across the U.S. in a bid to collect 100,000 cans of soup to support local food banks. For every 2 cans of soup you donate, the Cheesecake Factory will give you:

  • A complimentary slice of Stefanie’s Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake – for the first 500 guests who donate two cans of soup.
  • A special gift to use on a future visit to The Cheesecake Factory for every guest who donates.
  • Being a part of the bigger picture by getting an official ‘Drive Out Hunger’ Tour photo taken and uploaded to our Photo Mosaic page online.
  • Live radio remotes featuring your favorite local radio station personalities and music.

The tour is being run in association with Feeding America. To find out when it is visiting a city near you, click here.
