Buzz Aldrin is celebrating the 40th anniversary of his groundbreaking moon walk by releasing a rap song… for charity!

Rocket Experience was recorded by the 79-year-old to raise money for the ShareSpace Foundation, a charity the former astronaut founded in 1998 to share the wonders of space with children of all ages and to foster affordable space travel opportunities for all.

The music video, hosted on FunnyOrDie.com, also features appearances by Snoop Dogg and Tallb Kwell.

“I have only two passions, space exploration and hip-hop,” joked the space hero, billed as “Doc Rendezvous” for the song.

The song is available on iTunes.
