Singer and actress Jennifer Hudson marked her return to show business last weekend by performing the US national anthem during Super Bowl. That performance is now available for download, with proceeds going to charity.
The performance marked the singer’s first appearance since the murder of her mother, brother and nephew last year. Proceeds from all downloads will go to the Hudson-King Foundation, a charity Hudson co-founded in the wake of the murders to provide counseling and other needs for families who lost a loved one to a violent crime.
Hudson’s performance of the Star Spangled Banner can be downloaded now from iTunes.
