On Saturday, September 21, amfAR will present the 11th annual amfAR Gala Milano in conjunction with Milan Fashion Week.
The event will feature a performance by Rita Ora.
The Italian fashion community has long been exemplary in its support of amfAR, with its fashion houses and designers leading many of the Foundation’s most successful fundraising efforts. To date, amfAR Gala Milano has raised over $14 million for amfAR’s lifesaving research.
Like all amfAR events, amfAR Gala Milano will draw an exciting and diverse range of distinguished guests, including many of the celebrities, personalities, and designers associated with Milan Fashion Week, as well as famous names from the worlds of music, business, art, and international society.
In recent years, amfAR has paid tribute to the Editor in Chief of British Vogue Edward Enninful, fashion designer Angela Missoni, entrepreneur Lapo Elkann, the late Editor in Chief of Vogue Italia Franca Sozzani, President of OTB Group Renzo Rosso, and Remo Ruffini of Moncler for their outstanding personal commitment to the fight against AIDS.
Past events have been chaired by the likes of Sharon Stone, Dakota Johnson, Heidi Klum, Rosario Dawson, Juliette Lewis, Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio, Jeremy Piven, Coco Rocha, Michelle Rodriguez, and Irina Shayk.
