On Wednesday, June 12, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation (LADF) will host its Fifth Anniversary Blue Diamond Gala featuring a benefit concert by world-renowned musician Bruno Mars.

The evening will honor Billie Jean King and Ilana Kloss, and will kick off with a star-studded blue carpet and pre-show dinner party, followed by two hours of entertainment and post-show food trucks, all to celebrate the impactful work being done year-round by LADF.

Past Blue Diamond galas have contributed to LADF’s strengthened infrastructure, growth in programs, and increased fundraising with a record $2.2M raised at 2018’s event and plans to raise over $3M in its fifth anniversary celebration. Since inception, more than $25 million has been invested in programs and grants to nonprofits to improve access to education, health care and sports. LADF now runs and funds programs that prepare students for college; award scholarships; pay for eye screenings and glasses; inspire children to read; and use baseball and softball to build kids’ confidence and improve their lives. LADF serves 10,500 youth through its Dodgers RBI sports-based youth development program and recently completed its milestone 50th Dodgers Dreamfield, giving 300,000 kids access to a safe place to enjoy recreational activity in their own neighborhood. Proceeds from the Blue Diamond Gala will directly impact LADF’s Dodgers RBI and Dodgers Dreamfields programs.

Also expected to attend: Magic Johnson, Joe Davis, Orel Hershiser, the Los Angeles Dodgers players, coaches, and owners, Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation CEO Nichol Whiteman, and additional special guests including DJ Rashida, DJ Severe, Jonathan Bennett, Ryan Guzman, Matt Iseman, Mario & Courtney Lopez, Loni Love, Kat McNamara, Omar Miller, Emily Osment, Haley Joel Osment, Antoinette Robertson, Holly Robinson-Peete, Danielle Savre, Reid Scott, Kofi Siriboe, Jonathan Tucker, Anne Winters, and many more!
