Philadelphia Eagles Champion, Zach Ertz and his wife, US Women’s National Soccer Team Champion, Julie Ertz are thankful this holiday season for the love and support the Philadelphia community has shown them over the years. To give back and support those in need, the sports couple will be hosting the ‘City of Love Event and Auction Fundraiser’ on November 29th at Lincoln Financial Field.

Since being involved in several community programs and learning about the need of local charity organizations, Zach and Julie will spread their love and support for the greater Philadelphia area by hosting a special fundraising event to bring their teammates, fans, companies and supporters together for a fun-filled evening in the name of charity and giving back.

The City of Love event will feature great food, wine, desserts, entertainment, and a live and silent auction highlighting authentic sports memorabilia, one-of-a-kind experiences, and keep-sake treasures. Proceeds from the event will help fund the Ertz Family Foundation’s ‘City of Love Fund,’ a grant-making program that will support local Philadelphia and surrounding area charities that align with the foundation’s three pillars of service areas: youth sports, education and family.

The City of Love event is presented by Zebra Technologies, an innovator at the edge of the enterprise with solutions and partners that enable businesses to gain a performance edge. “We are excited to support the Ertz Family Foundation and the City of Love Event and Auction Fundraiser,” said Bill Burns, Chief Product & Solutions Officer, Zebra Technologies. “Our mutual interest in positively influencing our local communities builds upon Zebra’s active participation in the promotion of education, healthcare and STEM initiatives to help people, especially our youth, prosper and grow.”

The event is also supported by national and local companies that Zach and Julie are thankful for their involvement and participation such as: Entercom/94WIP, the event’s official radio partner; NBC10|T62 Telemundo, the event’s official media partner; Philadelphia Inquirer; Eagles Charitable Foundation; Philadelphia 76ers; Premier Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine; Admiral Capital Group; Fitler Club; Courtyard by Marriott; WorldServe International and Dunkin’ Donuts.

“Julie and I simply cannot express how much it means to us to have the support of the sponsors at our first Philadelphia event. The willingness of these companies to support our mission from day one is extraordinary. To have national companies like Zebra as our presenting sponsor, and all the other participating companies align with our goal to make Philadelphia an even better place to live, work and play, is amazing to us. We are forever grateful for their support,” said Zach Ertz.

Zach and Julie launched the Ertz Family Foundation earlier this year at a gala in Northern California. The event raised more than $200,000 for the foundation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Mission of Hope – Haiti, College Is Real in Northern California, and Kensington High School in Philadelphia.

Tickets to the Ertz Family Foundation City of Love Auction and Fundraiser are available at Eventbrite.
