Shortly after the Eagles beat the Minnesota Vikings to send them to Super Bowl LII, Quarterback Carson Wentz knew he wanted to do something big for the Carson Wentz AO1 Foundation.

After hearing from the team regarding the number of tickets available for each player, Carson knew this was a great opportunity to raise funds for the AO1 Foundation and give somebody an amazing Super Bowl experience.

Earlier in the 2017 season, Carson teamed up with Prizeo to run an extremely successful campaign around the Week 17 game vs the Dallas Cowboys. The winner received a fantastic New Years Eve package in Philadelphia including airfare, accommodations, tickets and pregame on field passes, along with a meet and greet with Carson Wentz.

Carson decided the Super Bowl campaign would run in a similar fashion as the Week 17 campaign, but the grand prize would be something much more significant: 2 tickets to Super Bowl LII, round trip airfare and hotel accommodations, dinner on Lake Minnetonka, and a meet and greet with Carson! The campaign went live on January 23rd and concluded on January 30th.

In just 7 days, the sweepstakes far exceeded the Foundation’s expectations as it raised over $500,000. In a video released on Carson’s social media channels he stated, “I just want to say thank you to all the fans and supporters out there, it means the world to me to know that you have trust and faith in the foundation to do amazing things around the world!”

During a Skype call between Prizeo team members and winner Matthew George, the Prizeo team surprised Matthew by playing a personal video from Carson congratulating him on winning the Super Bowl LII package. Matthew, overcome with emotion said, “I don’t know what to say right now…I can’t even feel my hands.” Matthew later stated that he planned to bring his dad, a life-long Eagles fan, with him to Minneapolis.
