Here is your chance to see if you have what it takes to battle Wolverine on the court!

CharityStars is partnering with Hugh Jackman to offer one lucky fan the chance to go head-to-head with Wolverine in a singles squash match in New York City. All proceeds of the auction will benefit Hopeland, a charity started by Hugh’s wife that is very near and dear to their heart.

An estimated 25 million children in the world are growing up apart from their families. While governments and non-government organizations provide a range of services to support these vulnerable children, few try to prevent parent/child separation by targeting root causes. The absence of preemptive strategies is immensely costly for children and their families, and drives wasteful spending on band-aid and often harmful solutions.

Hopeland is a non-profit organization that believes that every child belongs in a family. They want a world where every child grows up in a family with all of the protection, love and opportunities that strong families provide. All money raised will go to the FAMILY campaign which will conduct a landmark experiment to evaluate the impact of cash transfers as a cost effective solution to address the drivers of family separation, and improve the overall well-being of at-risk children and families, with a special focus on female-headed households with more than two dependent children.

The auction – which runs until December 21 – can be found here.
